I am very proud of *my* thread!

I love being able to talk about mental illness and recovery....I don't know anyone else out here except my family who will approach the topic (and some of them don't want to talk about it). For a long time there seemed to be lots of denial. But with time and lots of therapy we seem to be turning out all right.

Same here. My sister is the only person in the family who can comfortably discuss our history and hers and my own mental illness. Unfortunately - and perhaps by design - us siblings are scattered across countries and time zones.

I think I will start another thread to decode all the acronyms people use to describe conditions and treatments. They save time but I get lost in all the letters sometimes :)
