Toots- you rock :) You are making me look forward to the birthday- that's a good thing :) I think the 20's are when people are scrambling to "get their lives together" and half of us (20somethings) don't even know who we are- so I think it causes stress. Personally, I think the 40s will be the best years- you have a much better idea of what you want and who you are. :)
I refuse to watch Survior and the marriage ones... but for some reason A.I. has my attention, no idea why.
It's funny that you mention your hair. I have always always rubbed my scalp with my fingers, ever since I can remember. But as I grew older, I realized that not everyone does that... and i realized that I do it when I'm bored or nervous. I dont actually pull it out, but do you think that the constant rubbing could cause my hair to thin? Hmmm... I never connected it to OCD- is it a normal OCD thing?
> Lala, I have been watching A.I. for the first time...I never wanted to get caught up in "those shows". I still refuse to watch the Survivor things and the bachelor/bachelorette things.
> Anyway I have an OCD that is not comforting as it involves pulling my hair out and I have to be very careful that I don't create a worse problem and more anxiety. If I tell myself don't do it it's like telling me not to think of a pink rhinocerous. It mostly happens when I am bored but it also seems to have reappeared because of the divorce, moving, living by myself for the first time ever.

> Oh and about you guys turning 25 and being bummed. I am 46 and wouldn't go BACK to being 25 for all the tea in China. I love what each new year brings me with respect to growth and experience and confidence. Not that my act is completely "together" but I do things more for myself now than for others.
