Well, welcome home (almost). I wish I could stay here but just can't afford anything in a good neighborhood. Even in Concord, you can't get a house for less than $350,000. And that's considered cheap! Have you found a place to live yet? It's a really good renter's market now since the dot.coms have left town.
I've never been to DC but my boyfriend went to Howard and lived off campus and said he was scared to death every time he walked down the street. Granted, he didn't live in a very good neighborhood and any city has those, but wasn't it the murder capital for a while? Of course, Oakland might have taken that title over in the last couple of years.
Good luck with your move. I can't imagine moving across the country with kids! Unless they're old enough to help I guess. Boy, I can't wait until Rosalie can do chores!
Well, I'm going to pop a Trazadone and try to end this week with a good night's sleep. Here's wishing Rosie sleeps until at least 7:30 tomorrow. . . Did I just jinx myself?
