My sister sits on the I.Q. throne
I cry out, "I am somebody"
I uncurl from my fetal position
My voice fades to a whisper
"Aren't I?"
"Yes, you are a peasant!"
She tips her head in recognition of my uttering
I am so lucky she took the time and energy to answer me
You see my sister's I.Q. has much more important things to think about
"Why is everything so emotional with you?" she demands
Why do I disturb her with my emotional needs?
She is irritated on her dais
I have lost all favor
Silence descends
I curl back into my fetal position
