Well, that makes two of us. A lot of my family is down and that can only mean one thing...FIGHTING. Oh yes, it's already started and it isn't even Thanksgiving yet. So far, one family has already said they aren't coming because someone else is coming. It's ridiculous. Now, there is talk of cancelling the dinner altogether. Ugh... In the words of Rodney King, "Can't we all just get along?"
I'm sorry your plans fell through. Maybe you could plan a pleasant, pampering evening for yourself. You could still get the turkey. I know this might sound ultra-Pollyanna, but you might try volunteering at a homeless shelter on Thanksgiving. Hope you feel better. God bless you.
