step by step the longest march...

Posted by Emme on October 30, 2003, at 12:13:06

can be won, can be won. Drops of water turn a mill... (from song by John McCutcheon).

Okay folks, after everyone being so nice to me whenver I post in freak-out or desperate mode, I figured I'd throw in a few positives to balance the score. I'm taking it hour by hour, inch by inch.

- I haven't woken up crying in the last several days.
- I haven't slid all the way to the bottom of the abyss in a couple of weeks. (Okay, a few partial trips.)
- My therapist thinks my moods are more predictable - less up and down.
- Suicidal impulses aren't gone, but they are slightly less imperative and occupy fewer hours.
- I'm able to get a little more done.
- My dishes are washed.
- My laundry is done.
- My shower curtains are clean.
- Nothing in my fridge has mold on it.
- I've played volleyball four times in the last couple of weeks.

Who knows, I might become a real person again!
