What is so wrong with napping?

Posted by KellyD on October 23, 2003, at 10:47:39

Trival ranting, but I love naps. I take one just about daily. I get tasks done and function before and after. I have some friends who make a big deal about it. I will return a call and the response seems to be "I guess you were rolled up in the bed, too LAZY to talk to me". AHHHHH - it burns me. It's close to the surface, as it happened, yet again, with a friend, yesterday. I blow it off, but it burns me, none the less. I'm glad I can have a great rest. There was a time rest was impossible. (I've explained that to friends, too) Now, it's great.

Am I the ONLY person who thinks a nap/rest time (even, forbid, DAILY) isn't just an awful, lazy waste of time?
