Penny,

I found that either Strattera or Provigil didn't do enough on their own, but if I take BOTH it makes a big difference. No idea why... Had to get through some nausea issues (Ginger capsules work well) as I upped the doses.

As I separate from my old therapist (she's going to call today when she finds out I cancelled all of my future appointments - this is a major stresser) I am feeling better. I started the Strattera/Provigil in February and I could tell that it was helpful, but my stress level was so high that I still couldn't do anything. Slowly, as I move on with my new therapist the stress is starting to go down. I know that the dependency problem is my pathology - my old therapist isn't evil, she just couldn't handle my issue.

So the good news is that I have a ton of stuff going on - my college daughter and friends showed up on Sunday, so I had to do some (not all) cleaning and cook for 8 - Trying to get things arranged for my youngest to go to camp 7 hours away (the train looks good to me). My sister will take her for the weekend between sessions (yeah!!!) - My son failed the written part of his driving test (some day he may learn that it is worth studying once in a while), he'll try again today - trying to find out how much my insurance company will pay for my new (out of network) therapist - Change Thursday's therapy appointment so I can go to the make up class for my cake decorating class - Dogs have haircuts on Thursday.

I'm sure there's more. But the good news is that, while this is a ton for me to do, I can actually make a list (that was too overwhelming before), and do stuff on the list.

Oh, yeah, there is one more thing - I will need to TALK TO MY OLD THERAPIST (on the phone) about why I'm not coming in any more. AHHHHHHHHHHHH.

So, there is hope. Hope is a very good thing.

Things will get better for you. You are optimistic and a fighter. You won't let them NOT get better. But wouldn't it be nice if it wasn't such a fight?
