Another reason to step back.. if she is hoaxing us to get attention, then getting up in arms about it (either worried about her or angry at her, or debating what's true) gives her the reward she craves.. so we contribute to the cycle.
that said.. I have to admit that a suicide hoax pushes my buttons. It's hard to just brush it off. Usually when my buttons are pushed I try to go back into the original feelings.. which in this case are about my family member who committed suicide, not about the hoax at all..
but you know what? I don't really need to have that issue brought up like this.. so I'm still angry.
