Waiting for your hair to turn pink?
I wish I could sleep too. My sleep has been so disturbed by the effexor I'm starting to believe I'll never have a good night again. I used to love to slide into bed under cool sheets and cuddle up to my pillow. It was a wonderful feeling. Now I dread going to bed because that's when the panic comes but I'm so so tired all the time. I'm just one of those people who needs their sleep more than anything else. I can't cope with even the smallest thing if I don't get a good night's sleep.
There are upsides to the effexor of course, like weight loss and lifting of depression but I am taking it to lessen anxiety and it's doing the opposite. I'm starting to get pretty pissed off at it actually.
Sorry for the rant. I get started and just keep whining.
I took topamax for a month. It didn't feel like it was doing anything for the anxiety either. Does it help you sleep? HOw much are you on?
questions questions questions....sorry.
take care Shannon
hugs
tina
