Wouldn't it be great if there was some way to have a social group from this board, where we could meet in person....sort of an AA thing, but where we would be able to TALK to one another, get to really know one another and be able to support each other. I know that is impossible, but there are so many other support groups -- AA, AIDS, victims of murder, victims of rape, addiction, survivors of cancer, etc., etc. You name it, there is a support center in most cities. As far as I know, there is no support group for people with mental illness. Or am I wrong? I'm not talking about individual visits to one's own psychiatrist, but a real person-to-person gathering. It's true that on this board, you get involved with real people but only through typed words. We send hugs via words, but there is no such thing as REAL human hugs. Somehow, there should be little chapters around the country.
And, although I don't know you, Miller, I was very happy to see you posting again and hope you will get stronger every day. Good luck!
