Omg kid,
I had the wildest day! I started out by my fourth day of fasting (except for medications and water) by going to my pdoc appointment. Somehow that transfomed into some hellish math exam from the past and after that wizardly man sent me on my way with a scrip, tears in my eyes and $75 poorer I went along to try to procure these magical pills he wrote of on that pricey little piece of paper.
I drove my vehicle to the megalowesellitallcorporategiantevil store that shall go nameless to procure my meds thinking half an hour tops. I stepped into some kind of time warp obviously because I emerged almost two hours later. I'm nearly having a breakdown at the freakin pharmacy counter and I'm being told I have to wait some more for my anti anxiety meds. Like this is some sort of sick fucking joke of life I'm wiggin and freakin and in need of my meds and this pharm tech is givin me the hand?
Unreal. Rest of the day continued on downhill from there. I ran a few errands and had two nice exchanges with kind individuals but for the most part found myself very alone and frightened in this large world. After depleting my energies on the several tasks I had accomplished I was too tired to go back across town to therapy and called and left message telling therapist to call me instead.
Teary phone session with me at home wrapped up in bed and therapist telling me I need to slow the pace of therapy down. I've got a few more years ahead of me. Great. That really reassured me.
But I've digressed.....I ended up at the NY bus station because a lady knows there's no other joint in this US of A where you can find yerself the kind of gent one needs after a day like today.
Are you that gent kid? Hmmmmm?
