Too bad that protostomes don't know or care their mouths formed before their anuses. The information is wasted on them. They don't even care. Sponges (porifera/parazoa/animalia) care even less because they don't even have mouths or anuses let alone nervous systems. So if a person says s/he is a sponge (ie, likes to absorb information - something I am having trouble with at the moment), they wouldn't even have a brain (much less a notochord) with which to process it all.
