You know Susan, how when you were young and went to a wedding, you'd look around and notice what you'd like at your wedding.
I do the same thing with funerals now.
Not only do we have a will, but I have detailed instructions for the ceremony. I want "Precious Lord, Take My Hand" for music and that verse that inspired "Turn, Turn, Turn" to be read. I want refreshments to be served and I want lots of laughter. I want my favorite photos displayed. And a closed casket. Definitely. And I want to be dressed in cotton or linen. I don't want to meet my maker in a synthetic fabric.
I drive my husband crazy. He is of the "If you don't think about death, you won't die" philosophy. :)
