Chances are, if you're walking around with a yellow lighter that means you're a smoker, which is bad karma right there. Especially in California.
My son has always had an aversion to yellow lighters, swearing that they're bad luck. To prove to him how fruit that was, I bought a yellow lighter and told him I was bringing it with me to work.
I've been working since I was seventeen, and the day I brought that yellow lighter to work was the worst day I've ever had. Everything, absolutely everything went wrong, and I was extremely upset by the time I got in the car to go home. A few weeks before, I had bought a cassette tape that was supposed to de-stress you with sublimal messages, but I had never listened to it. I tore off the wrapper and stuck it in the cassette player, which promptly ate the cassette-completely destroyed it. I rolled down the window and threw the yellow lighter out of the car. Won't touch one now.
