I love the brief scene in the movie "City of Angels" where Meg Ryan's character asks Nick Cage (who plays an angel) why he always wears the same clothes, never gives her his phone number, etc.
Meg: "Are you married?"
Nick: "No."
Meg: "Are you homeless?"
Nick, smiling: "No."
(pause)
Meg: "Are you a drummer?"
