>Hi Gracie,

I can't get the image of her children out of my mind either, especially the defensive wounds on the six-month old. Imagine an infant fighting for its life, fighting its mother!! If "evil" exists in this world, there can be no clearer demonstration of it.

But, opinions, especially unlearned opinions must be supported if we want others to take them seriously. It is clear that, as you averred, Andrea knew what she was doing, otherwise she would have failed in her efforts. What I'd like to ask, with respect, is if you believe she knew as she was killing her kids, not before or after, but while performing the act, that what she was doing was wrong, not that she knew society thought it was wrong, for we often disagree w/ society when it comes to the question of right and wrong, but, if Ms. Yates knew in her own mind that what I'm doing is wrong, this is wrong, and I'm doing it anyway.... Because that is the legal question at issue. And if you believe she knew she was wrong, how did you arrive at this conclusion?

thanks,
trouble
