Lou - The only differnce between a cult and a religion is approximately one hundred years. It is nice to have beliefs; and if something works for you, then go for it. There is no need to couch the facts in vagueries and parables. If the psychological reasoning behind the story is sound, then there is no need to dress it up.

Also, another ploy of religion is play the martyr when others do not follow their mode of thinking. We are all different and have out own beliefs. Your entire theory could be stated in one post and in plain English, and in point form (eg. 1. forgive others, 2. be kind, etc.). Suspense is best left to mystery novels, IMO.
