I've seen the first 3 hours of it, I guess. The first 2 were aired back to back--the first was on fetal development and infancy, and early language. The next hour was on school-age kids and seizures and learning disabiblities, etc. Then the next was on adolescence, focusing on schizophrenia.
It has been very interesting, and the graphic animation is pretty good. But I'm disappointed, actually, that the focus is so heavily on what can go wrong, and not on normal development. Of course, they supposedly bring in the research on the pathology as a tool to help illuminate how the brain functions normally, but they spend way more time on the pathology than on the normal ways the brain works.
