Drinking - what helped tonight....

Posted by Krazy Kat on October 31, 2001, at 22:07:23

I love Halloween. It is my favorite holiday. I love to dress up, to go to a party or be in a parade.

There was nothing to do here - hubby even forgot it was Halloween. I was very down, and wanted to get beer and pizza and sulk.

Instead, I sulked, and actually talked to my husband about some of the recent things that have been bothering me. I've been as tight as a clam lately.

I then sulked some more. It helps that he lets me sulk now w/o comment.

Then, I ate. I often don't eat when spiraling down. I ate things I like - pasta and pie. And even some chips.

Then, I watched an old movie.

Then I started feeling quite hypomanic. But that's a whole different story.

I'm always afraid Hubby is going to criticize when I do "selfish" things - it's been a change for him. But I was determined to do some things that would help me and prepared myself to say that.

Boy, am I rambling.

So, anyway, my reward is a crummy diner breakfast tomorrow. And no dry mouth upon waking.
