Dear Elmer phd,

wheres my clock with the second hand, or is the third...

As to cleaning my windows, hrumph, you must be peeking or is it peeping in mine, just yesterday, as the sun came out, finally, I thought, tomorrow I should clean my windows...now, that reminds me of the time when my children were little and I cleaned their finger prints off the windows, ahhh, so satisfying (is this ocd?) only to turn around and find them all smeared again. Is this an analogy to our illness...why work to get the windows clean if all they do is get dirty again? why bother? I havent really cleaned my windows since.

What is a cotton bud?

I know what a cotton ball is...that would take a l l l oooooo nnnnn gggg time to clean a window with just an ittty bitty tinie winnie cotton ball.....? (something britishish I am sure)

then ants and boulders, or my aunt in Boulder? Do you know all those ants running around are males...what is there to learn from Their Behavior?

I dont DO drugs, thank you, and I have never read Freud, though I do have a 'selected writings' my husband probably got for free, on the shelf and we constantly sing the song: Oh, Sigmund Freud oh Sigmund Freud, oh how we wish you were differently employed....'

I am convinced elephants are frightened of mice because it doesn't see well, the elephant, it has one eye on each side of its head so when little mice scurry around its feet, it gets upset and jumps up onto the nearest chair or table. Then, of course the thing collapses under the weight of the poor elephant.... And, news just in, the elephants have a way to communicate by resonating sounds (outside of our human hearing) in the bones of their skull...thus communicating over long distances...therefore, are so busy vibrating their head bones that little mice confuse them.

Are we confused yet? Good, we are having a test later.

> Also placing mounds of earth (boulders would be best) in the way of busy ant trails, you can learn alot from an ants confusion.
