Oh, heavens, it very, very difficult to offend me. :)
Well, I have to say the "normal" me, whoever that is, doesn't believe in ghosts, although apparently my sister does. :) But I have no problem with the concept of the paranormal. I certainly don't think that everyone who believes in that is a manic depressive.
I have only seen Henry sitting or standing in the back room without any knowledge of how he came there. I'm not scared by my sightings of strange things, as they have happened since I was young, but do distinctly seem to be related to manic episodes. But then I enjoy unusual experiences.
I haven't noticed any physical change with these delusions, such as a temperature drop, or hair standing up on end.
In addition to this, I see really funky things like Elvis dancing in a light socket, a Rasta man coming towards me spitting ephitats (I have no idea how to spell that, but would have before starting Prozac) which was reoccuring in the city.
Re: his explanations - no. There is more of a sense that he wants us to go. My guess has been that he wants to be left alone.
