I think its called 'the evil dead' any movie where the hero mounts a chainsaw onto one of there hands is a winner! also 'house' scared the hell out of me when I was about 9. umm... not quite the same but the b&w movie 'the cat and the canary' also kicks. bob hope is a damn funny man.
as 4 seriousness and b&w then american history X is amazing, it kinda fits as very few people have seen it (that I know)
