This is difficult. Like you describe, I always feel more efficient when I'm busy, but at some point, busy becomes too busy, I start feeling very stressed and I crash. It's pretty impossible for me to control this at work. I am in a fee-for-services business so there is a real disincentive to turn work down. I've gotten alot better about scheduling too much outside of work. Many of my decisions are driven by the recollection of previous bad experiences. I find that I try to imagine accomplishing all that I want to, and how it will feel if I can't get to everything. Usually that helps me be more realistic about my expectations. Mair
