Allison,

Sorry to hear about your cat, I know how tough it is when we lose something or someone that is very close to our hearts. My deepest sympathies are with you. I haven't had the greatest luck with animals as an adult, but had a tabby cat named Tiger as a kid and remember how devastated I was when he died.

I was wondering if you had any thoughts about the Wellbutrin possibly causing any of your irritability? When I took WB for the first time, it made me feel energized and gave me a sense of well-being. But the second time, all it did was left me feeling irritable and testy as hell. At Cam's suggestion, I'm going to ask my psych to try me on Adderall at my next visit, hopefully that will help with my fatigue. He has explained to me (in layman's terms thankfully) how the Neurontin affects the electrical impulses in the brain and I think I'm actually starting to understand it all. Maybe I'll be an expert someday...not.

Please let me know how the meds are working for you from time to time. I feel like we have this psychic-Neurontin bond thing going on....

Hugs,
Greg

I'll be sure to send your best to Cam. I wish you'd join Haven and drop in for chat tonight. If you're interested, let me know.

I'm just finishing my 3rd week on 10mg, which was supposed to be a starting dose. I was supposed to be on 20mg two weeks ago. It makes me so fatigued that I can't take more than 10, although the fatigue seems to be not as severe. It's messing up my sleep though, which isn't good (keep waking up at 4 am and not being able to go back to sleep). I am waiting for/hoping for these *&%$@# side effects to wear off. Otherwise, I fear I'll be put on an MAOI. I see him again tomorrow.

It was horrible trying to pick his stiff body up off the living room floor. Went into work late. I couldn't imagine staying home and dwelling on it, but was fairly useless. One thing I have noticed about this Celexa is that things that used to get my goose don't anymore (my eccentric dad is a good example). However, I have not been able to cry much either today, and am wondering if I am becoming emotionless (again) -- this time via Celexa.
