What kind of PTSD? I have c-PTSD. I think it is really important to get someone who has experience treating trauma. I didn't, and my trauma was multiplied as a result. I don't know for sure, but wehther you have classic PTSD or c-PTSD might make a difference, so you may want to check into whether it does.PTSD is often accompanied by depression and/or anxiety, so meds for that can be helpful.. but therapy is indeed a crucial component in addressing PTSD.
