I can't say that I'm jealous of him in the looks department, but sometimes I'm afraid that he might be smarter than i am. Since my intelligence is one of the main things that I base my self esteem on, this can be tough. I haven't worked through the implications of this issue quite yet, and I really have to fight the urge to get competitive with him. I guess we've all got our thing. I'm sure your perfect therapist has things that make her insecure too.
