I fear you won't receive anything that will satisfy or that mets your expectations. I don't think we always have to understand a response or in this case lack of a response to accept it is simply an "is" and attempt to move on. I know in a light of the trend to analyze everything, this isn't a generally accepted idea but there are times it's the best path to take, IMO.
