I know.. me again! I just wanted to tell anyone who is interested that I decided to follow the advice of several of you to call and let my therapist know I will be at my next appt.
So, I called, got the receptionist, asked her to please leave a message for my T saying that "I called, am sorry for missing my last 2 appointments, but that I will be there next week." Well, the receptionist said "she's not in today," so I just said "never mind, then. I'll just see her next week."
But I did make the effort and it did feel like the right thing to do. I guess I could have told that girl to still leave the message, but she didn't offer to, and I'm not very assertive at this point. I'll tell my T when I see her next week that I did call on Friday to give her that message but she was not there (just so she knows I did try to let her know.)
Thanks everyone for helping me see things differently. I feel a lot better, too.
