The current issue of "Oprah" magazine's cover story is about accepting ourselves, our bodies, warts and all. I haven't had a chance to read all the stories, but I like what I read so far.

Thought it was timely to this conversation.

I recently worked on my body image in therapy. I uncovered hidden fears, rejection, just plain ugliness. After beating myself for a few weeks, hiding under my coat, hands over my face, I slowly started really listening to what my therapist was asking me to do. It's not a miracle cure, it's a beginning. I'm sure I'll revisit this topic sooner rather than later.
