i am so sorry for you and your family.
that is so terrible. what a tragic loss.

i wanted to comment on the quilt.
many times people want to take something that is a momento and cherish it always, others don't want it around.
(ONLY) if your daughter decides she does not want to keep the quilt, she may want to consider donating it to the children's "ward" of a hospital. maybe another sick child can get Great Use from it.

and please take time for yourself to rest and such HF. you need to remember to take care of yourself so that you are better able to help others through this.
