Q, I am no expert, in fact a novice, I read, try to work on my writing, take walks with my dogs, go visit my horses, clean my house or sit and enjoy it as it is new, sit by the lake, just sit and enjoy a pretty day or sunset, try to find something beautiful in the world since I am usually hurting. Then I can put my pain aside long enough to spend some time with my family. I am lucky in that mine are trying to understand, I have a long road ahead of me and they don't realize it yet but.....

My few friends, that is all I can afford to have, I call them when I can talk and we talk. Not all of them know my painful situation but I spend time with them when I can. For right now I am not on anything except topa for migraines not moods, it has never been for mood as it doesn't work for me that way. I have been trying to work through this without drugs but presenting things have gotten to a thresold that I might not can continue. My T and doc have been supportive either way.......I live for music too. Sometimes that is the best way I can relax especially if I am really gone off the deep end.........
