Gazo, could Pilates be helpful with your back?
(Feldenkrais is interesting stuff too.)
I have a ruptured disc and stuff and it is the only thing that offers much hope for me.
IME, it is difficult to find good physio.
I was lucky to find someone who looks at the articulation of the whole spine in 3D and who thought about ways of compensation in one part of it for what cannot be fixed in the other.

Back pain is awful. Nothing works very well for nerve root pain.
