How bout you make a weaving? A wall hanging one.
You either make a circle shape with a supple branch, or you can buy a circle shape. Mebbe eg. about 12-18" in diameter.
Then you make strings up and down, all across hoop(your warp). Then you take wool and weave thru strings. Wool can be tight or loose, lumpy, thick or thin, diff colors. You can incorporate things into the weaving to represent stuff.
I made a nature one once and I incorporated bits of wood, feathers, dried seaweed etc. Around the rim I wrapped brown homespun wool in natural colors.
I am TOTALLY unartistic, but this project turned out so cool, proly the best thing I ever made.
I dunno if I've described it well, I can try more if this interests you.
Iy would be handmade, original, meaningful w/incorporated stuff, and sorta netlike in its way.
Just a thot.
Take care TG.
