Having had some brutish Ts myself I want to say I'm sympathetic to your anguish. The T had no right to say/do what he/she said. I'm glad others have expressed the same. It's hard to remember to stand up and say something like "That was rude, mean, and unprofessional. I expect an apology" and mean it. One is already too mired down to demand the respect that they deserve. As you've figured out, it's victimizing the victim.
Somewhere there needs to be a place to report such outlandishly bad therapists but I don't know where it is. Joint Commission for Accreditaiton of Healthcare Organizations? This is the type of behavior that gives therapy and therapists a bad name. There just isn't enough regulation. Please, don't let that monster cause you any more pain.
