Poet, that's wonderful! It *DOES* feel really strange to get a good satisfied feeling of happiness after so many struggles, doesn't it?
Well, just remember that the voice that says that depression is more comfortable is a voice that may be loud and obnoxious, BUT- it's also a voice that you can ignore!
Having seen the brighter side- you may need to put on some sunscreen and sunglasses, but don't be afraid to go there. You'll do okay. Let your T help you make this transition between the very hot place and the next place that holds a lot of promise. :)
