I don't like the too commercialized aspects of therapy. And I don't like the sometimes "I can fix it all in one session" aspect of his suggestions - like when he points out what the right thing to do and tells people to just do it and get it over with as if that was ever that easy to do the right thing. I mean, who really ever doesn't know what is right?

But I think his suggestions are quite sound in most of the cases. And it is good, because it really educates the public about the option of therapy for their everyday lives. And it helps see what is going on in other peoples lives and perhaps helps people realize that they are not alone, and not everyone is evil, there are really options available etc.

And he really would be an excellent CBT therapist. And it helped me especially because it served as a substitute for my first T. Dr. Phil sounds too much like my first T, and it really helped me a while back :-)
