Actually... About that. No. Nobody knows for sure. But I guess the people who have been here for longer have more of a reason to trust him. (Because trust is something that is earned over time) If Dr Bob turns out to be some kind of satanist then I have to say I will be verrrrrrry suprised. Especially since his concern to give all peoples spiritual beliefs a fair hearing / expression over on the faith board.
But that quote... Just that little quote about what doesn't kill us makes us stronger... Well that quote is fairly famous. Fairly famous. And I think it may have been an attempt to be amusing to adapt it to apply to the website.
Lots of people like that quote without having read much (or any) of the other stuff that that guy has written.
Really.
