I certainly know what you mean. I am a nervous wreck before each and every session and I've had hundreds of sessions. I can't eat, I can't concentrate, my legs start to get weak, my breathing gets shallow, I feel nauseous and dizzy.

My heart pounds so badly I am surprised he can't see it through my shirt. In fact, actually I think that he can, because he looks toward my chest and says "you're feeling terrified again."

"Yes, always," I say. But then he lets me be quiet for a while and I stare at a picture on his wall and slowly I calm down a bit.

So, I wish I could say it gets better, but for me it definitely hasn't.
