These little things can be really annoying, the way a tiny nick on a finger can just bug you to bits.
I understand the reason you had this party - because you could. And it's wonderful, isn't it, to plan, and think about it for months beforehand, and then to put it all together for the delight of your friends. People really appreciate this kind of thing, the details, and the work put into it. It's such a great thing to do!!
And the things that cost the most money are really things, when you know how to do them, are just a question of time.
Here's what I think: your T just doesn't understand it. She is maybe not a person who can ever imagine doing a party from the ground up.
I hate it when my T doesn't get something that's like breathing to me.
