> How did you feel in the dream?

Hmmm...I think I a little overwhelmed because the professor expected so much from me. At the same time, I was glad that the prof. thought I was capable of succeeding in the course.

> Were you doing well in the class? Or were you struggling?

I think I had the feeling that I wasn't doing as well as I was capable of doing.

> Do you feel you use PB for research into your own mental health?

Yes, that and to socialize...to be a part of something.

> And do you fear you might 'fail the class' in some way? Or do you feel you're engaging competently with your peers on PB?

The class was pretty small...I don't remember engaging with anyone in particular. I had the feeling that they all felt the same way as I did...they all thought the class was very challenging and that we were all going to have to struggle a bit with the tough assignments.

> Did you want to please Dr Bob, or did you feel his demands were excessive (in your dream)?

His demands were very high, but not excessive because he knew his class was capable of meeting the standards. I kind of liked that his standards were so high because it meant that he did believe I was capable of meeting them.

> I suspect that Dr Bob, as the professor in your dream, might represent an aspect of yourself that you feel has high expectations.

Very interesting...I do have very high expectations of myself. I tend to be extremely critical of myself as well. It is difficult to balance the two in a way that does not always lead to excessive avoidance.

One part that stood out very much in my dream was the assignment Prof. Bob :-) give me. I thought it was wierd how it was a question about mental illness that had to be solved mathematically...a physics-type question. Hehe, I've had one too many nightmares about chemistry and physics exams! I'm 100% sure I'll have them again when school nears again. Usually it's about me not being able to find my class or having to write an organic chemistry or physics exam on the very first day of class...terrifying!
Nightmares about murders and monsters just cannot compare!

> If you think of PB as a class, maybe you feel there are expectations you need to meet, or that it's hard work. But, metaphorically speaking, if you signed up for the class then you are probably capable of passing.

I certainly hope so! :-)

Or...it could have just been a silly little dream :-P

Thank-you Tamar for the dream analysis!...very interesting stuff.
