I know some of that happens every week, but we really do try to focus on our work. She wasn't there for me today! Not at all!!!!! She was having a hard time focusing on me. .....After I left, I called and left her a voice mail and told her that I felt bad. She wasn't there for me today. I said, if I end up going for 3 weeks until I see you again, this feels really bad to me.

I think I"d call her and tell her what you said about insurance only paying for 20 sessions, and that, since you have to pay for the rest out of your own pocket, and since she admitted she really wasn't there for you, you'd like a gratis session. She owes you that after being with her for 8 years! Ts should be able to put their own stuff aside for an hour, and if they can't they should reschedule until they're up to it.
