I have had the same fear from the very beginning, and it's the main barrier stopping me from fully opening up. Just last week I talked about some intense feelings, and when I left I wanted it *back*. I talked to him about how sometimes I just want to rip my file from his desk, make him return all the journal entries I've given him, and somehow take out of his brain all that I've told him. It gets so scary because when your T (or anyone) has so much of you, there's such a potential for hurt. And the biggest hurt would not be a relationship struggle but being left after all you've been through together.

I think the only answer is to trust the consistency of your T's presence. It's so hard -- I don't have any answers; I just wanted you to know that I have the same overwhelming fear of being left alone again in all of this.
