What about looking at the pros and cons of chatroom interaction, looking at such things as how it affects IRL relationships (i.e., do some people stop communicating or reduce their communications about certain things with family and friends or does it enable people, in some cases, to be more open and trusting IRL); its effect on a person's ability to socialize and develop meaningful relationships IRL (i.e., do some become more introverted and avoid IRL social contact) . . .
I don't know . . . Probably not what you are looking for.
