I am dxed as PTSD and have had the dx confirmed time and time again...anyhow I stay up late. Maybe cause you had a hypomanic episode that perked their thoughts of BP cause I have heard that can get you that DX..but I cannot swear to that. Maybe can you consult with a totally different T and NOT mention the new DX and see what they say? I know most people with BP need meds all their lives and also that they tend NOT to tolerate SSRI'S My GUESS is the hypomania is what they based this on. I had hypomania once due to caffine and anxiety. I bet you are frustrated and trust your insticts and dad :)
