You might want to also check with your insurance company about their providers. Therapy can get expensive so it is worth trying to find someone within your plan if you can.
See if those names match with any your MD or other referral sources might give you. I was lucky. A friend of mine is a retired Therapist and she gave me the referral to the Therapist I have now. She knew me and my temperament which was helpful. I checked him out with my son's Therapist (who was very impressed with his work) and I did go see/interview 2 others. It isn't easy but it is worth it if you find someone you can work with.
