I missed the potentially banworthy thing, but about the group, I'd probably go with the therapist's judgement. First I'd try to convince her it was best to leave, but if she still disagreed I'd most likely stay. I assume that she knows better than I do about such things and can see clearer what's going on with me. It scares me to put so much trust in her, and maybe it's not even healthy, but that's what I do.
