Gifts / cards - definitely not. I'm sure she would take a very dim view.
office too hot / cold. It's never just right. I always complain. Once I said I was really hot and she said are you sure you're not just embarrassed?
parking lot - My therapist's office is in her basement, so she's always there already.
Books - when I tell her what I'm reading she usually gives a subtle put-down. I challenged her on this the other day and she said she is worried about me reading all the cr*p there is out there. She has recommended me a book, which of course as a Perfect Therapy Client I ordered immediately.
