I'm working on the core mindfulness skills

Posted by Dinah on August 28, 2003, at 7:31:25

In my DBT self study. Obviously, I don't like the whole concept of "wise mind".

But my main problem in understanding right now is understanding the difference between the "what" skill of particating (being at one with your activity) and the "how" skill of one-mindfulness (focusing attention completely on whatever you're doing).

Could anyone who's had DBT experience share with me what I'm missing? Or is it just too close for a mind that doesn't always grasp nuance well.
