Lexapro and really bad side effects

Posted by Hockeygirl on April 3, 2003, at 21:11:02

Seven days ago I switched from Celexa to Lexapro. Since the switch, I've come down with every imaginable symptom possible. Dizziness, difficulty in concentration, dry mouth, sweats, nauseous, flu like symptoms, fatigue...major negative thoughts..?

Does anyone know how it is possible that Lexapro which is the same active ingredient as Celexa can cause such side effects?? I was informed Lexapro was more tolerable. The only side effect that I got on the Celexa was increased perspiration and minimal dry mouth.

Has anyone else had these types of symptoms after being a week on the Lexapro?
